About to purchase a 2019 25R
Is Northwood aware of all the poor reviews out there and apparent quality issues? If so, has the company done anything to address? We still have some time before taking delivery, may want to think twice before this purchase!!

5 th wheel main slide out problems...
Caution
Arctic Fox Lemon
Took delivery in May 2018 of an Arctic Fox 29-5T from stock at Broadmoor RV in Pasco, WA. On the first outing we experienced electrical and other problems - dining/living slideout 110-volt circuit breaker tripped when plugging in to shore power (we were able to reset), dining/kitchen ceiling fan stopped working, electric leveling jacks failed to operate, bedroom closet clothes bar fell our of the brackets, and I discovered some deficiencies on the rear fascia that indicated body work may have been done to the RV prior to delivery.
Stopped at Northwood Manufacturing in La Grande, OR on our way home and asked the Customer Service Dept. how the leveling jacks were designed to operate. The representative didn't know so referred us to the local Arctic Fox dealer in La Grande.
After arriving home took the RV to the selling dealer, Broadmoor RV in Pasco, for corrective service. They "fixed" the electrical problem, the leveling jack problem, and resolved the apparent body work and other minor issues.
On our next outing we again experienced electrical problems; the 110-volt circuit breaker for the dining/living outlets tripped. Returned it to Broadmoor RV where they found a different culprit and "fixed" it.
It appeared again on our next outing, so the RV went back to Broadmoor RV for a third time for electrical problems. It's been in the shop since mid November and they still haven't definitely determined the problem.
It's sad because I visited the Northwood facility and took the factory tour prior to deciding to buy my Arctic Fox. I was impressed by the level of quality control during that visit, but my RV must have been exempt from that process since it had so many woes when I took delivery.
Definitely won't recommend Northwood products to friends, especially the Arctic Fox fifth-wheel trailers.
- Product defective
- Poor quality
Norwood comes through for me
Thanks!

I have probably forgotten some items.
I knew I would have problems but this was way more then I would have expected. Did my research before I bought the trailer. Its my first new RV. I have owned inexpensive used RV's in the past. I did not count on this much of a pile of garbage.
I only bothered the dealer a couple of times. Their standard answer is "bring it in." I don't have that kind of time. Could you imagine if I brought the trailer in for each of those items?
Even if they could fix it right (ha ha ya right) how much more damage do you think they would have done in the process?
First and last new RV I will ever buy. Like I said I know my RV's. They are all total and complete junk.
Save your money and buy a 10 year old used RV and rebuild it yourself, or consider how many hotel rooms $65,000.00 or more can buy in a life time.
The industry does not not not not care about quality or customers or anything else.
The people I really pity are the older retired people who don't know....
They sell their house for $250,000.00 and then drop it all on a 5th wheel and truck , or all of it on a motor home and let your nightmare begin.
Its not worth it.
To many repairs: Slide out, Shower Pan, another Water Leak....
Our repairs started with a faulty self-resetting fuse for the slide out that almost started on fire. It was to hot to handle when I replaced it.
Then we traveled to the Grand Canyon and upon leaving noticed water dripping under the trailer. Got home and found a water leak at the pump. This soaked the back half of the insulation under the trailer, which I had to remove. Once everything dried I had to replace the insulation and re-seal it.
Took it out the next weekend and another pipe leaked, luckily I found it in time.
Just got back from Colorado and noticed that the slide out trim was hitting the bathroom hinge.
So I called Northwood and they told me to try adjusting it. When I looked at the bolts that hold the slide to the sliding mechanism I could see that the slide was all the way forward. I loosened everything and moved it back enough to clear the door. Also while cleaning the shower I noted cracks in the pan.
Filled it with water, stood on the pan.
Sure enough the pan is cracked and leaking. What NEXT?

Water under bed
Hi
We bought our 2019 Northwood Nash 24M in November 2018 and promptly covered and put away for winter. We have since uncovered went on one trip and since we have been home and a couple of different relatively minor rains we have discovered water UNDER the bed.
Needless to say we are VERY disappointed and worried that there will be permanent damage in walls that we can’t see.
Does anyone have any suggestions or have had this issue?
Our dealer said “huh never heard of/had this happen”. We have re-caulked roof and front seams ourselves praying that this will correct the situation.
As many of you we made a HUGE investment as this is to be our forever Coach and right now we are beyond disconcerted. Thanks in advance for any shared information.
