Quality Control @ Northwood Mfg

Ordered 27.5L AF 5th wheel. Picked up - 1st night out leaked like a sieve!

Took back - Dealer had a 2nd unit on the lot- Took it and had multiple problems: Rear power jacks did not work, light over dining table a foot off, when porch light on TV did not work, flooring in kitchen area by heater vent flexed when stepping on it, bedroom door would not open all the way or stay open - These were the obvious problems - what else could be wrong??? Took that unit back. All our research said AF was a quality built product - I have lost all confidence in the product.

They apparently do not have any quality control as their rigs leave the factory. Very disappointing!!!

We have had numerous problem with our 2014 Arctic Fox Silver Edition 5th Wheel. Crooked, crinkled blinds, warped doors, crooked tv, leaking hot water tank, condensation hose not connected causing leakage into the trailer, cable/satellite not wired in through the wall, severly scratched countertop from factory and the list goes on.

We had a Topaz for years with not one issue, thought we would get a bigger unit so moved into an Arctid Fox and have regretted it ever since.

Wish Triple E made 5th wheels still, cause we would sell our Arctic Fox to get a topaz again. The Northwood team don't really give a rats *** either.

We have had nothing but problem with our 2014 Arctic Fox SILVER EDITION 5th wheel and the staff in Calgary at Trailer Town really don't care to help at ALL.

Like this persons experience I too was very disappointed with the quality of my Northwood Wolf Creek 850. We found issues during the walk through.

Northwood beats the 'quality' drum but it is certainly lacking. Some things I was able to correct myself but others will need to be submitted for warranty.

Since it has been summer I haven't taken it to the shop yet.

That will be the next adventure, will they fix it right the first time?

Northwood won't fix anything….these people are so unprofessional. We too had documented issues during the walk through with dated photos and the dealership we purchased our 5th wheel from didn't communicate for four months when it was time to get warranty work done and then Northwood played their little mind games until the warranty expired and NOTHING was repaired. WHAT A JOKE!

We purchased a 32.5 5th wheel artic fox last June. Were told fold out couch was a double.

When we took it home there was no mattress and it was only a single. Still waiting for new couch which they ordered in July. Since going south we have had door knobs fall off, shower nozel break. Hoses in compartments leaking.

We could not pick up internet through cables and tv was fuzzy find out sub standard cable through out trailer. We could not have our fantastic fans blowing out because the whole trailer smelled of holding tanks. Had to replace mechanical vet under bathroom sink. Then put to vents on roof, did help some but to our expense.

Would not reccommend this trailer to anyone. We had a Topaz for 8 years and never had a problem to bad they're not made anymor

Yes we own a Northwood product :(… We had a beautiful Triple E Topaz fifth wheel , with not one issue at all but we wanted to upsize so moved into an Arctic Fox…..big mistake. The folks at Northwood treat you like ***, warranty issues are shrugged off, discussed until the warranty expires and then they tell you that nothing is covered under warranty after you battled with them for six months to get the deficiencies from factory repaired.

What a @#%$&*# joke. Beware!!!!

We too now own a Northwood product. An Arctic Foz 5th wheel.

Prior to this 5th wheel we had a TOPAZ and NEVER had any issues. Wish we still had our TOPAZ!

We had a Topaz too! Wish we still did cause now we own an Arctic Fox Silver Edition 5th wheel and there are numerous defiencies. If Triple E ever makes fifth wheels again our Arctic Fox is being traded in.

Arctic Fox Review

This is not a complaint just a comment. Enjoyed the tour at La Grande OR. Plant. But was disappointed when I was told that my 1 ton Dodge dually 4x4 would be over weight rating with any of the Artic Fox truck campers. So I wonder about the liability issues for the many of the Artic Fox owners I see traveling the highway with trucks smaller than mine.
