Northwood Manufacturing - Black Water valve stuck
Our black water valve is installed with the pull lever at the top which resulted in the bottom of the valve collecting material and eventually not shutting properly. The result was removing the cap and being covered in waste.
Very unpleasant. If the valve was located where the valve could be pulled sideways the valve seal could drain and not fill with material over time. This is an engineering problem that should be resolved in all RV's.
It could result in unsantitary conditions in dump sites as well as on roads across America. I hope this can be resolved and no further contamination results.
Reason of review: Damaged or defective.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Had the same issue with my 2019 Desert Fox 24AS. When removing the waste cap for the first time I got a giant *** shower.
Flushed repeatedly with 40 - 50 gallons of water. Dumped again on same trip and same result (wore my waders this time!). Defective from the factory. Replaced under warranty by Northwood.
One of 15 warranty items that were pending.
Iโ ve literally had the trailer less than the Service Department has. Still waiting for replacement windows that open during transit (emergency egress).
Northwood does not build valves.
At work I use stainless steel 2" to 36" slide valves. They all have the same problem if they are not flushed well before closing.
Sounds to me like you do not properly flush the tank with water to clear the valve and pipes of debris before closing it.
